To browse Academia. In this study; animism, animalism and animatism, were explained by means of the works of Latife Tekin and Cengiz Aytmatov. As Tylor points out, animism, which is regarded as the oldest religious form, is one of the old common belief systems of the Turks. It is possible to trace the traces of this thought in some ethnic groups of the Turkish world with animistic and shamanistic rituals. We also see the rites of the rituals in Aytmatov's works. It is also possible to exemplify the products of the animistic thinker in Turkish literature through the works of Latife Tekin. From these basic sources, it has been tried to find out how the animistic elements in two different Turkish geographies correspond to themselves in the same literary genre, what corresponds to the writer's cognitive, and which cultural motifs the animistic transformations put forward. İntihar olgusuna teorik yaklaşımlar işlenmiş, bu yaklaşımlarla Aytmatov eserlerindeki intihar eylemleri arasındaki benzerlik ve farklılıklara dikkat çekilmiştir. Ayrıca Batı edebiyatında intihar olgusunun gelişimi ve Rus edebiyatındaki kullanımları, intiharlarla verilmek istenen mesajlarla da Aytmatov'un eserlerindeki intiharın karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır. In the study, the beliefs with which Turks interacted throughout history and the characteristics of these beliefs are discussed in detail through Aitmatov's works.
